Been drinking over a gallon of water a day. I bought 6 gallons of water at Walmart for 78 cents a piece. Great bargain. Only I have to lug them into my office. I get my work out there. I left several in the car, and have them for an emergency as well as for work. I will most likely start refilling them with tap water from home and recycle as work water is nasty. I am definately hydrated as I can tell by all the trips to the bathroom. I just hope the water starts flushing out my system and I lose more fat...The drink more water challenge doesn't appear to be one I will fail at. lol On a super positive note, when I lose 6 more pounds I will no longer be considered overweight by the Army and taped for body fat. Woot. I have been passing body fat tape for years, but can't remember the last time I weighed in and didn't have to be taped. That is someting to be happy for only 6 more lbs to go.

This is going to sound strange but I don't miss the small things as much as I used to. I have gotten used to: drinking my coffee black, drinking water, NO SALT brand, and splenda. Eating tuna, hot dogs and other items with out bread is not so bad. Substituting sandwich rounds for bread, switching to wheat and whole grain, and debunning any fast food. (It does so look poor, pathetic, and alone on the plate with out the bun though:) I have gotten less picky about what I eat now that I am on NS. Many of their products are to sweet for my taste, but I am learning what to order and not order according to my taste. Packing my breakfast and lunch has become normal the night before work. I actually pick up items at the store and check calorie content before they go in the basket and make healthier choices. I am still dragging my happy but out of bed at 0400 to go work out for 2 hours when the Army only requires 1 hour. I am getting positive comments from co workers who notice I have lost weight. It is still painful to smell the good food and see others eating fast food, but I looked at a cookie yesterday and declined. Out of my mouth came the dreaded words, " I have to work out for an 45 minutes to burn that 250 calories." I just hope I have the discipline to continue. It smells so good, but I have been able to joke about it with my coworkers. Maybe a fruit and or veggie plate will show up at the get togethers. LOL. I have been at it since the first week in Jan. I want to lose the weight so I can get off NS and eat and maintain on my own. This must mean when everyone talks about life style changes.
