I was bad last night. (Or good dependant on the outlook) I was craving steak something fierce after I was sick during the day. I think I am still not drinking enough water and was also dehydrated.
So I went out to a steak place for supper, of course they had rolls and carbs are my weakness. I haven't been eating much meat lately. Mostly veggies and fruit. I guess my body was telling me something about protein. I keep forgetting to eat the protein with my diet. I came home and went right to sleep. I also took a long nap during the day. I am going to have to be better on the weekends and to put in some proteins in my diet as well as dairy. My energy levels are really low.
I have been paying attention to calories and portions on the cans of food and splitting up meals in different containers by portion in the fridge. 1 can of soup for 2 meals, 1 can corn 3 meals, ect. I cleaned and chopped a bunch of fruit and veggies and put in the fridge so they are already ready for meals. Making loads of dishes dirty. TG for the dish wsher. Man this eating right thing is hard work and crazy balancing sometimes. But it is worth it so far.
I went through my closet yesterday. I have 12 pairs of pants to donate that are to big. Woot definately losing inches. Small steps!

I lost a lb this week. I was sitting here with my coffee reflecting on the ironies of life. My father died this past summer. My mom has lost over 70 lbs because she has much of her will to live and food no longer tastes right to her. Now she is 20 years older and 30 lbs lighter than me. I am telling her to eat to live, and I am trying not to live to eat.
Daily I am talking her into eating better and reminding her to eat and to keep her weight constant so that she isn't losing much more weight.
She is talking to me to tell me she is proud of me and to be strong and to keep doing a good job losing weight. What a funny thing life is and how we all support each other in one way or another. Ok that is my philosophizing for the day. :)

OMG, my skirt was loose last weekend when I wore it to a play. I didn;t think much of it. But last night I tried on several pairs of my dress pants. I lost at least one pants size. Scale didn't move, my inches did. Woot. Now I am definately feeling more motivated. I got pretty down for the last 2 weeks as my weight hasn't budged much. 10 more lbs and I have to go clothes shopping. Sweet!!!!
