Have been working out 2 hours for 3 days straight now. I wish the scale would move down. On a positive note, TGIF tomorrow. I am over this week.
I read so many inspiring journals and comments daily. I am glad to have found this site. I decided to change my attitude. Someone the other day noticed me eating veggies. I automatically said I am trying to lose weight. This morning I decided to change my outlook and now say I am losing weight whether I am or not. Maybe a change in attitude will help!

I just finished packing lunch for tomorrow. I can honestly say that once you are in a routine it is easier to stick to it. I have packed my lunch for almost 3 weeks now since starting the new year resolution to lose weight. It has helped greatly to think about what I will eat and pack lunch and snacks. If I don't have any food left after mid afternoon, I make myself wait until I get home for more fruit, veggies and supper. I have found myself less hungry and more focused. I still get into auto pilot grazing mode and forget how much and what I have eaten while sitting at my desk at work. Sad but I eat and can't say what I have eaten or how it tasted on auto pilot, let alone to be able to write it down. If you have veggies or fruit preportioned and or counted in a baggie it is easier and I journal before I eat. I empty the baggie and it is a wake up call to stop eating when my fingers don't have anything left to grab. I never realized just how much I eat with out thinking until I started measuring, journaling, and portioning out my food. No wonder I have had trouble losing weight. My ideas of what constitutes a "regular" meal have started to changed too. I now cringe at super size, value size, and regular sized portions brought at the restaurants. It is starting to seem large and over sized to me instead of normal.

Went to dinner last night at my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I go every 2 weeks or so to practice my spanish with the cute waiters. I was bad and had taco salad, but I didn't eat but a few pieces of the shell. I had chicken and shrimp as the meat. I love salsa since it is low in calories, and used it instead of sour cream. I didn't eat the whole thing and didn't bring the left overs home. I had kept my calories low so I could go to eat out, but fell to the temptation of a big Texas margarita. What is a girl to do?:)
Paid for my margarita in sweat at the gym this morning. I worked out for almost 2 hours. Owwwwwww....... But dang that margarita was worth it. Yum

Went to work out at my apartment gym last night. Both treadmills not working and had to fight stair stepper to get the monitor to work. Happily the TV worked and I watched TV while I stepped. When it rains it pours. I reported the broken equipment to the manager. I hope they are fixed by the weekend. I got sick last night, I ate after I worked out and my stomach revolted. Not the way I want to lose weight. I either can't eat to late or I can't eat so soon after working out heavy.
Luckily person that I am, I have to work out Mon-Fri for an hour every morning at my job because I am in the Army. I am still rehabbing from my ankle sprain, but really need to stick to my weight loss and exercise, because it is my job on the line. No stress there. :(

OK gained a pound. I have to drink more water and lay off the white zinfindel. Despite the notes not to drink alchohol,I thought as long as my calories were low I'd be ok. Guess not. I have to go shopping for veggies and fruit again. Shopping is not fun:P Combined with the nutrisystem this gets expensive. But on a positive note, I put on a skirt I haven't worn in months and it was quite loose, and I need to get a belt for my jeans soon, so I must be losing inches as well.
