Well, this is looking well for me, even though I have been eating what I would describe as less than 'diet food' such as walkers' crisps weird flavours collection. I ordinarily wouldn't eat these in the quantities that I have these past couple of days but I have been keeping my calorific intake lower than my output so by being flexible in the quality but maintaining the lower quantity I guess that I have done well, yaay!

I have been doing really well this week. I have definitely shrunk my stomach from the stretched phenomenon that it was last year. This has meant that I have not been eating even half as much as the massive meals that have led me to this size and I am beginning to feel some results already and feel that I may only have to wait until late spring / early summer before I reach the halfway mark! I am finding this much easier than I thought and am also now able to reduce me intake so much that I am able to sneak in some treats like crisps and chocs without reaching my calorific goal which is great.

I have been very good watching what I eat and still feeling full. I still maintain that quorn products are tops in my book for filling yet low calorie food. If it weren't for them I would not have got this far so good for them! I am now officially 1 stone down on my original starting weight which is a great milestone to celebrate. I have found it OK for me to have a rare treat occasionally foodwise and not feel the need to continue eating rubbish soon afterwards. This has been my downfall in the past and I have now learned about damage limitation which means that I can eat high-cal foods but in smaller amounts as a treat for me.

Things are going well and it looks like the more I eat (making sure that I still remain under my allowance) the more weight I am able to drop. There is little point in undereating as I have proved in the past that continuously keeping eating close to my calorific allowance helps my weight come down more. I am planning a curry meal on my birthday at my favourite restaurant at which I will more than likely overeat but I think that once in a while will be OK just as long as it doen't occur too regularly.

I have been following my diet 100% and it is paying off it would seem. I also believe that my stomach is shrinking in its capacity which I guess is a good thing as I am unable to seriously overeat which is a large factor of why I am in this pickle in the first place! I couldn't finish a small meal yesterday which surprised me as I have eaten far, far more in the recent past. It would appear that being a bit hungry from time to time has paid off.
I had a glass of water and a cup of tea this morning and although I was hungry not so long ago, I am now very full after that to drink.
