G'Morning my dear FS friends 🙋♀️
Yes, I've been away for a while and yup, I have to admit that it's partly because of some of the comments/remarks I've received (kinda like a Will Smith slap)...but you know what? I need to get over it! Get around it or through it or whatever!
This is MY JOURNAL. My life! My journey! And there are many BEAUTIFUL people here that I believe truly & sincerely care about each other. Anything that I share here is solely meant to offer a wide variety of ideas, topics, inspiration, and encouragement...because we're all different. We all respond differently to a suggestion or idea.
I don't claim to be an expert on anything, and I most CERTAINLY don't think I know it all. But I DO CARE! I care that each of us might keep fighting the good fight, making better health choices, keep being kind & respectful to each other (even when we disagree).
So today I offer this bit of encouragement:

Just realized my last weigh-in was exactly 1 month ago...and I'm basically the same weight! Cool! I haven't been adding up my calories, just writing down what I eat. I've stopped logging all the 'extra' info on my smart scale and simply log my daily weight. Still trying for daily exercises & extra NEAT for burning calories & gaining strength/muscle. Perhaps, most importantly...hubby & I have not smoked for 8 days! We want to be as healthy as possible, for as long as possible & to hopefully enjoy a little extra time together here on Planet Earth. 🌎💙💑

"No Excuses November"...this shall be my new mantra for the month.
I alone am accountable for every bite I take, and for every hour I sit on my butt. It's all on me! I'm not gonna blame the weather, my arthritis, DayLight Savings Time, my kitties, my hubby, my worn out shoes, my sniffles, my ancestry, inflation, politics, or anything else! It IS what it IS! I've been lazy and careless with my eating (I ate a WHOLE CONTAINER of whipped frosting...spoonful by spoonful...in 2 days!) and I'm spending too much time sitting. I choose to shake off this lethargy & get my head back into the maintenance game.
Am I the only one needing to 'snap out of it'? LOL 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🙄
