I don't even know if I should bother going on with being careful about what I eat. My new meds are already making me gain weight, and I've been within my target all week. Very discouraged.

Gained a pound since yesterday. That was kind of a bad start to the morning. Not BAD, but not good, either. Feeling kind of anxious about increasing my med dosage today, and a little down at the same time. Not fun after such a great few days. :(

5pm Feel a little better this afternoon. Took 1/4 Xanax to ease the anxiety, which helped. I have the CRAZY munchies now! I hope that's just me or my menstrual cycle and not a meds thing. Med Munchies can be the worst.

W00t! 1st goal met! Now for the next goal: FIVE POUNDS by Thanksgiving! (Cross your appendages the new meds don't make me gain weight!)

Feeling really great today, although my sleep was weird last night. I find these new meds make me have to use the bathroom a lot. I find it hard to believe that meds which make you pee and give you diarrhea make you gain weight, too. I'm going to wait until my usual weigh-in on Monday to see if there's any difference yet. I've done really well on keeping my eating under control this week, except for that really weird incident last night.
My doctor gave me a more powerful Ambien, the controlled release one, which... doesn't really help me fall asleep very quickly, especially when dealing with the annoyances of the CPAP mask. So last night I finally dropped off, only to wake ABSOLUTELY HAVING TO HAVE a Fiber One Chewy Granola bar. I mean, I got out of bed, stumbled through the house (tripping through weird, flashing hallucination lights all the way) to the kitchen, found my prize in the pitch dark (even gave the cats some treats, as they were all freaked out by the weird activity), stumbled back to bed and fell pretty much immediately into a sound sleep. I'm not crazy about the sleep meds. If I'm feeling tired naturally at night, or drowsy from one of my other millions of meds, I just don't take them.
Anyway, I have plenty of energy, and I'm feeling pretty up today without being agitated or really manic. Still can't seem to focus on one thing for too long, and I keep forgetting little things I wanted to do. Still, I have to call it a positive day overall!

Just took my first Depakote. Very nervous to see what happens, and not happy about the weight gain that's generally a side effect.
