I had jury duty so I have been away for a while. I am back now. I have been doing good. I did have a drink over the past weekend, just one glass of wine and I did have a cookie. I don't feel as though I have gained any weight and I will weigh my self this friday. I have not weighed myself in a long time. I have been measuring instead and every week I have seen the inches come off. I could even wear a pair of jeans that were way too tight last time. I have been doing my workouts everyday. I think after Labor day I am going to try the EFS diet. I am ordering the book off of Amazon. Here goes today.
breakfast - banana, pear, peach
lunch - baked salmon, brown rice, veggie
dinner - squash & zuchini(not sure if I spelled that right) w/ chickpeas
snacks - light canned fruit ( need to go grocery shopping for freash), watermelon

I have somehow caught a summer cold, and a cough. I didn't workout last night but I will today. I was really tired after work and after getting my son to bed, I took Nyquil and I was out like a light. So here goes another day.
breakfast - oatmeal (only half of it, not really hungry today)
lunch - brown rice w/ half of turkey burger. Apple
dinner - not sure yet, not much of an appitite today to even think about it.
snacks - probably watermelon, plum.
exercise - workout video or tredmill (if I can breathe out of my nose LOL!!)

I have been doing good for the last couple days. I got a new workout video. I got Yoga Booty Ballet and it is so much fun. I love it. I am kinda hurting today but I needed to switch up my workout, and I need to extend my workout. The video last about 45 minutes. I have been eating well and drinking my water. I think I will weigh myself every 2 weeks, so this weekend I will see what happens but I feel great. I am invited to 2 parties this weekend so I am nervous about that. I will stick to grilled chicken and veggies but can I resist a glass of wine? I will try. :)
breakfast - yogurt & banana
lunch - brown rice and chicken, grapes
dinner - salad w/ beans (maybe) or omelet
sancks - plum & apples
exercise - workout video ( I am addicted)

Well, I didn't do as good as I should have this weekend. On saturday I went to a bar-b-que and I ate some bar-b-q. I know we were not suppose to have pork and I am sure the sauce was full of sugar. But it was soooo good. I also had some animal crackers. So it's not terrible but it's not great either. I didn't get all my water in and I didn't exercise. Now I have confessed it all. So I am back on track today. I didn't bother with the scale because I don't want to get mad and lose focus or say "forget it" all together. I did lose 2 inches from my waist and 2 inches on my hips so that made me happy.
Breakfast - cream of wheat, herbal tea
lunch - turkey burger no bun with bellpepper and onion, banana
dinner - brown rice and veggies
sancks - carrots, plum, peach
workout - either the tredmill or areobic video (not sure yet)

I am feeling a little discouraged. I have been on the diet for almost a month and have only lost the 9 pounds. I know that I have lost some inches but I want to see the scale move. I got on the scale today confident that I lost something, but no, I am exactly the same. I have been working out and eating good, except for the 4 cookies I had, but no more pounds lost. I do really like the diet but I am not sure what to do. I have not even been eating that much meat. I am only a pound away from being under 200 and I want it soooooo bad. I was thinking about changed to the EFS diet. I will continue this thru Phase 3 but I am going to read about EFS diet. I know I am whining right now, sorry. One top of it all everyone is pissing me off at work!!
Breakfast - cream of wheat & banana
lunch - squash w/ kidney beans
dinner - probably more squash and some fruit ( I will be out late, going to get my hair done this evening)
snacks - yogurt, apples, plum
Today is my off day for workout.
