I really need to get re-focused here. I will have to admit I am not as motivated as I once was. But I am not giving up either. I didn't cheat yesterday so that was good. I pulled weeds for two hours last night and raked the flower beds. I am more sore from doing that then when I do workouts!! I am sure it was all the squatting. Anyways, I am going to push forward. So here it is for today.
breakfast - grapes ( I know, not enough, but it was hetic when I got to work!!)
lunch - brown rice w/ red beans
dinner - turkey burger no bun/ veggie
snacks - watermelon, corn (not sure what else)
exercise - either tredmill or video

I have been doing okay on the diet. This past weekend I did cheat a little. I have not gained any weight, I don't think. I am still refusing to get on the scale. I have been doing my workouts. Even though last night I really didn't want to but once I got started it went by fast. I think I am going to try the EFS diet. I am still happy with myself for sticking with it this long. After Labor day weekend, when all the parties and bar b que's die down, I will really be focused. In the mean time I will stick to it, and stick to my workouts.

I have been having a good week. I did eat some waffle fries yesterday but I only had 5 of them. They were really good. But I notice now that it is easy to limit myself on things like that. I have not worked out for the past 2 days so I will be working out for the next 5 days. I did jump on the scale and I am still at the same weight. That did not make me happy but I have not gained and I have lost 3 inches on my waist and 2 on my hips all together. I want to get a new scale because I have an old school dial scale that has been in the family for about 10 years. I am thinking about going back to phase 1. I definitely feel the workouts help maintain your weight. I was about to be discouraged but I won't let myself. So here we go again.
Breakfast - plum, coffee ( I know, not enough)
lunch - kidney beans & banana or an apple
dinner - brown rice & veggies
snacks- watermelon, yogurt

I did good yesterday. The only thing is the coffee. I am still having 2 cups a day instead of one. I am trying to stop. I have not weighed myself in a long time but I will this weekend, maybe. I know my clothes are getting baggy, and I am excited by that. That is what motivates me. The scale was just upsetting me and discouraging me. So we will see. I really didn't feel like working out last night but I did anyway. I got on the treadmil and I jog/ran. I was so proud. I am to the point where if I don't workout I feel guilty. here goes another day.

lunch - squash & chickpeas w/ onion, fruit
dinner - brown rice and beans
snack - watermelon
