OK, just a little frustrated.
Looking at my diet calendar I am, on average, hitting a negative 500 calories (intake vs. burned). So I should be loosing weight, right?
But the scale refuses to budge.
My clothes are fitting better, makes me wish I had taken measurements at the beginning and each week when I weight in, because I know I'm getting smaller.
I just can't get the scale to budge.
Tonight when I change into my PJ's I will measure and will start keeping track on a weekly basis.
Maybe it's all this running and weight lifting - maybe I'm actually turning fat into muscle?
Imagine that....

Looking at the "pie chart" of my calorie in-take, it's obvious that I need to cut back on the carbs and eat more protien.
FS is a pretty great tool, considering it's FREE!

Since we are in the midst of a very bad storm here in AZ, I can't get outside to run!
I worked out with weights yesterday, and haven't done it today. Instead I've been outside in the rain doing my best to push water out of stalls and keep the horses as dry as possible. I'm not winning that fight.
The power keeps going out, we've had about 10 "flickers" in the past hour. Every time that happens, the satelite TV goes out and we pretty isolated.
I don't know that this journal entry will make it - I see from my little internet icon in the tray there in the corner, that I have no internet connection at the moment.
The realities of living rural.. at least I'm not in 10 feet of snow!
I just might do a workout tonight, since it looks like the TV's are not going to be on. And if the electrical storms hit like they say - in about an hour - I'll have to shut everything off anyways.

I enter my food intake and it seems low to me (the total calories) even though I know I am over estimating how much I am actually eating. Do I just take it as is, or should I really break things down. I don't know that it's worth the effort/time involved?
I guess I will take more time if I get to a point where I am not losing weight or if I start gaining it back!
Running is getting better - I am going farther and running a larger portion of the distance with fewer breaks. It's true what they say - the runner's "high" is addicting. I cannot wait to get outside and go for my run!
