Here I am back down where I should be. It feels good to finally have a substantial loss. It was hard work, but I finally came to my senses and got back on my original plan and limited my carbs. I hope to stay on this plan for another 2 weeks and then start adding in a few carbs to control my maintenance.
I found out the hard way that a 1600 cal maintenance with 90+grams of carbs doesn't work for me.

Small drop, nothing significant but every little bit helps. I haven't has a loss in a week or so! I am happy this morning that I got on the scale.

I had a good day Tuesday. Today I am tired and my hip is hurting. I am about to have breakfast. I am really liking the Zero net carb bread I bought at Aldis. I haven't gone over board with it, after all it does have carbs, but not net carbs. I think a carb is a carb, fiber and all.

After keeping my carb counts within the 20 gram induction range,I went to bed with a clear conscience and slept like a baby. I didn't toss and turn thinking about what I wanted to eat and how much it was going to cost me in pounds.
today is our 57th wedding anniversary and we are going to Neighbors Mill for a tasty take out salad.

All I want to do is get back down to my goal weight! I just need a little over 2 lbs to get there. I have been doing 1200 calories give or take a few and my weight doesn't budge. I don't want to have to eat only 1200 calories per day for the rest of my life in order to maintain. I thought I could do 1600 calories per day to maintain, but the scale kept going up. I don't eat like a bird normally, I eat like an idiot, that's how I got over my goal weight. Anyway I am going to keep trying.
