Feeling good for the most part, I am not going to weigh myself until Saturday. A little bloated from my cycle. Day 3 of eating healthier. I am using the food journal to plan my daily meals, instead of just eating and adding all the junk later. If I do eat anything else it is added in. But today looks like it will be a good day with more protein and fats than carbs that will stick to my gut. I have to go help a friend of mine wash down walls so that will be some killer exercise as her and her husband are both heavy smokers. I have a ton of laundry to get done as well, so that is going to be up and down stairs the rest of the day.

Good morning. I started this yesterday and got my husband on board today. What I realized with my food intake yesterday, is that it is not the calories I should be concerned with...as much as it is my carb intake..my hubby says there are good carbs vs. bad carbs...but doesn't it take just as long to burn off one type as it does the other?

Hello. I am new here but I am not new to this weight loss struggle. I have been a yo yo dieter most of my life. At this point I am need of some major changes in my life. I have been working in a Pharmacy for the past 3 years. When I started working there I weighed approximately 174 pounds, I started taking adipex as prescribed by my Dr. I lost a lot of weight and went down to about 130 pounds, because on it I was never hungry. Well since then my Dr. has refused to put me back on it due to the addictive nature it has. Unfortunately I have since evolved into this stress eating, if it is affordable eating, and If I have to look at another candy bar eating person. I work at a store...There is way to much temptation. I have gained back over half of the weight I lost.I find I am binge eating with no self control. I feel horrible afterward and I don't like the way I am anymore. I have thought about finding a new job, but I love my job and the interaction I have with my customers. I came across this website because this morning I woke up and decided to try counting calories, which I have never done before. I hope it works.
