I know it may seem slow. But since Jan. 1 I have lost 24 pounds and it has not been hard. I just changed the way I eat. I Have treated myself on a few occasions and eat desserts or pasta that was NOT recommended, but then went right back on Phase 1 at the next Meal and was able to control the weight. I need to incorporate more excerise in my day. That I believe will help. And Thank the Lord for Crystal Light! I drink that like a fish! And Drink lemon water at meals. My afternoon "snack" is my "15 or so nuts" with a crystal light. I can even get those from our vending machine at work! My next goal is to be below 213! Just taking baby steps!

What a great attitude! I've always had a bad habit of cheating at one meal and thinking, "I've already screwed up, may as well go all out." Before I knew it, I'd gone on a 3-day eating rampage. Way to go on the self-control and patience!! :-)

great job and attitude and 24 lbs is amazing I started Jan 3 and only have lost 15 which I am very proud of, but you are doing amazing!!!! And you have diffently proven that you don't have to deprive yourself just have portion control on the items you love. I never thought that was possible but now I love that one small piece of chocolate is all I need to get through a craving moment. You are truely an inspiration

Thanks to you all! I can say I have been on almost all diets, (even that tall shaved head blonde chick diet!) but none have worked so effectively and been so easy to accomodate around my llfestyle than the South Beach. May daughters who stated this "lifestyle of eating" have each lost 26 and 28 pounds as well! We WEIGH EVERY DAY! I know most people say not to do this, but I feel it keeps me on track. For example, how much dmange did I do eating that piece of bread I shouldn't have eaten. Stepping on the scale keeps me in line!
