... today is my first day untethering without recording food, since about 4 months ago when I started. And it feels a bit odd not having that discipline as support.
I have adopted a pretty narrow range of foods that I eat, and I know their calorie values pretty well, so it should be ok. I’m also determined to reach 16% body fat, so there’s an underlying safety net.
For the next few weeks, I’ll be sticking to 500 calories below the FS recommendation, as a quite stringent cutt, and trying to load up 25%+ protein, and keep carbs below 15% as I’ve been doing. And continuing with 4 sessions of cardio or weights a week.
This process has worked well for me so far, and I’m feeling good and all my health metrics.
At the first sign of a wobble, I hope I have the fortitude to hop back up and start recording again
