Now it is time to get serious about what I eat & maintain that willpower...which seems strongest when I record everything that goes into my mouth for that accountability. So record-keeping is a priority now...time to keep that diet calendar updated! :) Just finished a powerlifting competition at the gym where I train...not bad for just getting started lifting in March: Benchpress I did 115 lbs, Squat 205 lbs, and deadlift 225 lbs. It was fun...now time to get serious and set my sites on a figure competition in the next year or so! The gym has become my decompress activity...funny, I used to dread going there, now I just can't wait! Feeling great! When I look back at how far I've come, I can hardly believe it!

I'm not dieting to lose weight. I'm working toward my physique/muscle development and trying to sculpt my body. Paying attention to what I eat is the toughest...so that's what I aim to do! :)

Haven't made a conscious effort to change my diet at all...just tracking it at this moment to educate myself on what I'm eating so I can identify the positives and negatives. I found that sometimes I will forego a sweet to avoid the guilt of having to record it. However, I try not to let that sway me...after all, I want an accurate measure of my habits. I'm actually surprised that my caloric intake is as low as it is...I am noticing, however, the correlation between energy and food. :) If I can stay around the same calories, but choose foods a little better (hard in a picky family when my husband does all the cooking), I think I'll easily be where I want to be and make more progress. My exercise has been slow lately due to an issue with my foot...when I get to running again, I anticipate seeing the pounds drop!
