I'm up way too late and I'll be going to bed shortly. I wrote an entry a few days ago but I think I deleted it. Anyway, it said my weigh in days would be Sundays. I like that day, it's what I've always used when I had a weekly weigh in day, but I'm changing it to Saturdays. I'm part of a weight loss group on another site, and their weeks run Sunday to Saturday. I could keep weighing in on Sunday and just be one of the first to weigh in every week but that's weird for me. Weighing in on Saturday instead would mean I would weigh in the last day before the week's results are posted, and I like that idea better.

Nobody cares about that but me, I'm sure, but that's what a journal is for! And I really only make mention if it because that means tomorrow is going to be my weigh in day. I'm excited for it, I've done pretty well this week and I'm expecting a decent loss. I'll only truly expect a pound, because I know I've lost at least that much and don't want to be disappointed, but I'm pretty sure I'll get something more like 1.5-2lbs. Even if it's less, that's okay. There's no way I simply maintained and surely no way I gained, so hey, a loss is a loss! And even a 1lb loss would get me to 10lbs lost since I joined up here; that's a nice little milestone!

Now off to bed to get some rest.

I'm not doing so well on the challenge I joined. I got sick, and then I got sick again a couple of weeks later. I've added exercising back in now and am eating well, but I'm just not losing 3+lbs per week like I would need to. I wasn't sure when I signed up that I could do it anyway, because I've done this weight loss thing before and after the first 2-3 weeks, 3lbs per week would be quite the high weight loss. I would usually lose 1-2lbs per week. But I wanted to try, and I thought the challenge would be a nice way to push myself to lose a good chunk this summer. I'm losing weight though, and that's all that matters, even if it is only little by little.

I'm still going to try to lose as much as possible to keep up with the challenge but my original goal was to lose at least 5lbs per month so as long as I'm doing that, I'll be happy. I'm about 0.9lbs away from 20lbs down! (From my start weight in January, fatsecret has my start weight as a weigh in from May when I joined.) Even more great news, I'm less than 15lbs away from my lowest adult weight ever! 175 is just that number that I've never gotten past, I seem to get down around there and lost my motivation. Not this time! And once I get lower than that, I'll have even more motivation.

I've been unable to log on lately, but now I should be able to come here more frequently.
