14/116 til eval

Super Bowl Sunday! I'm invited to my brother, Jeff's house. He throws quite the Super Bowl party! I'm making a few Atkin's approved appetizers.
Deviled eggs, an avocado dip, w fresh cucumber. Stuffed Black olives. Something w mushrooms. I'll clean out my fridge, and put it to good use!
I'm also going to eat just before going to party.
Yesterday, I did some minor weight (2.5 ea) lifts for my arms. I also did a bunch of crunches and danced to music holding these weighted balls. ah, my back is about to go out. lol. For the love of God, I have to remember I have this dam demyelination syndrome. Muscle relaxers are calling my name. It's OK. It's all for a good cause. A woman wanting to look as close as possibly as she did in her twenties. lol well, as close as can be, a hard body 50+ version.
You only live once, yolo effect. I want to be the strongest I can be. I want to conquer this muscle demyelination thing. I'm going for it! My brother is sending me his PX90. I'm going to do what I can w it. Yay! He said there were periods he walked like a floppy fish, his muscles were so sore! No pain, no gain. He ended up as ripped as can be, kicking butt in a pool/swim war w very buff nephews half his age.
OK that's it. Got to go make the appetizers.

13th/117 til eval
yay, down a pound. Closer to my first goal! I'm most likely going to go for 136 mark, but need to eval how I look and feel w the 148 goal. I have a lot of fat yet to shed, but I also have a lot of muscle. People would be shocked at how much I weighed especially when in the 170's. (thinking I weighed less) I can carry a lot of weight. So I might be satisfied w the 148 mark.
I'm glad I lost that pound. I was getting frustrated. Needed the reward.
I'm remembering to eat more frequently. Today I'll take time to read, print recipes from the Induction. I made and modified a stuffed mushroom recipe. It was super delish.
Also need to figure out how to sign in w my iPad. I go in via my emails now. It doesn't let me participate unless I'm signed in. I don't care for all these learning tech curves.
OK That's it! Be strong w your resolve. You can do it!!!

12th/118 til eval
First off, a big thank you for all the support, advise and comments!
I sat down yesterday and re.read the Atkins site. I did lose 60 big ones but it's been awhile. I'll start Induction the right way, this Monday. Ok, I got 3# of ricotta cheese to get rid of. Plus I'll get the hang of net carb counting. I have the net carb counter book, and the initial list of ok foods printed. Yay. They also mention to go to phase 2 if you are pretty close to your goal. My initial goal is 148, but have a feeling I'm going to go for 138.
I want to be a hard body. Thinking of asking my brother for his PX90 routine. I'll do the best I can.
I lost 1.2 pounds! yay! I don't own it until it stays off another day.
I learned I do need to eat more often, and I'll drink some broth as well. I did cut out all liquids listed as diet drinks. I'm going to read some more, and get some recipes lined up. I'm already Celiac, no gluten so I haven't had breads, pastries, etc for a long time. That's not an issue for me. I don't miss the chips, chocolate yes...
I did make my son a triple choc frappe last night. I had a few large sips. It tasted great and calmed my desire for chocolate. (I know it's not Induction) I can't eat any of those energy bars, or smoothies, etc because most are loaded w gluten or nuts. I'm allergic to nuts and most milk products too. Its all OK.
I stretch or exercise any chance I get. While waiting for the microwave or dryer. I do continuous leg lifts for a minute at a time if watching TV. It all counts and helps my motivation.
I have a few appointments today. I got to rock n roll.
One question, difference between complex carbs, vs other. I ask as I think I already eat the complex ones. Thanks!

11th/119 til eval
It's at a point I must read on the Atkins. Been mentioning, but today is the day. Been busy w God knows what. I can procrastinate w anything that has to do w paperwork! Otherwise, I'm going to just do my own diet w calorie counting. I always feel better w low carbs, so I'll stick to that.
I'm feeling super spacey. I shouldn't be. Apparently, I'm not eating enough calories. I'm not following the proper way. Must get this act together! I just ate 3 hard boiled eggs and I'm still spacey. :/
Been getting some advise from fellow losers. I appreciate that.
My son said I probably have to work at this diet a bit harder as I have my final 20 to lose. I thought the scale would have moved a bit. I do remember if I waited til the 8th day, the scale would move in the right direction. Right now, it's the same for 4 days. Patience!
Went to the gym yesterday as my son was going. Felt great to exercise and get out of the house. I'm hesitant to exercise or drive myself today because I'm so spacy. Think I'll have a half of an orange. Maybe my blood sugar is low. I'll have my son drive today as needed.
I figured out how to enter new foods so my diary will be more accurate. I'm going to take the new 4 selfies today for my eyes only. I plan on doing that weekly.
