Wow!!! I am feeling so energized. I went out and bought the Zumba World Party game for my Wii U and did 45 minutes of it and wow... that was one intense workout! I have been done for 20 minutes and I am still feeling out of breath! That was by far the best workout in a looong time.

So, I decided to swear off carbs and started dong South Beach. I didn't think of how much preparation I would need in order to plan my carb free meals and well, I didn't plan ahead do, I made a not so good dinner... but I did measure my portions and made sure it was one serving of each item. I am going to be spending tomorrow figuring out and planning my meals for the week so that I can cook whatever is necessary and stick it in the freezer. Hopefully those fe carbs didn't do much damage and the weight will still come off. I plan on following very strictly beginning Monday. In the meantime, I will just count my calories.

I have to say that I have walked 18.4 miles in the past 2 weeks... most of those miles were this week since I pushed myself to walk. I am taking part in a challenges to walk 4 miles in 4 weeks, so I am right on track. I also have not had soda now for a little more than 3 weeks, so that is nice considering I used to be able to drink a 2 liter bottle of Diet soda in one day... and I would do that daily. I have replaced that with 95% water, 3% hot tea and 2% seltzer. I have noticed that I am more and more thirsty lately though and my skin is breaking out like crazy every since i increased my water intake. Hopefully it is just getting all the toxins out of my body.

Well, I lost a pound today, which is a start from the crazy weight gain from super bowl sunday! I don't know what the hell has come over me... I never eat chips and stuff and I have been chowing on them, probably because they are in the house but I usually don't go for salty food to begin with. Its also been difficult with birthday cake in my house! I have been walking the past 2 nights, braving the snow and cold and just doing it.. yesterday I walked a little over 2 1/2 miles and the day before about 1 3/4 miles. I will probably go for another walk tonight as long as it isn't icy.

The hard part today was that work was cancelled from the snow... so there was not much to do but watch tv and eat. I had 2 slices of pizza for breakfast and some chips with guacamole for lunch, thinking about ordering a salad for dinner since I have no food in the house! I have been very good however with drinking my water.

I have a new reason to stay focused! My favorite aunt has invited me to come stay with her n Florida for a week or so because she wants me to look around down there for a job and a town to look for a home. Shockingly, my boyfriend is supportive of this... just me going away for a week! I can't wait! I have to plan when, but I would like to be down to 215-220 pounds before I go... so maybe I will wait until the end of April or early May to give myself enough time to lose 25-30 more pounds! I am looking forward to seeing her, I have not seen her in a few years since she doesn't make the trip up here very often! And spending time with her is always great!

My new diet plan is to now limit my carb intake... it's gonna be hard, but that is where I will see the biggest weight loss... and lots of water!!
