It has been a week and half and I wish I was doing better. The weekend killed my diet. For me it is so hard to maintain during the weekend because it messes up my schedule. Though I am proud of myself because I went to the gym 5 days last week along with Monday and Tuesday this week. Today is Wednesday… I am ready and excited to go to the gym. Yesterday I ran for a half hour without stopping and I tried a new abs workout. Today is a new day and I have the gym thing down and eating well on the weekday. It is just the weekend thing. It’s frustrating because I go to the gym and eat good five days a week. Then in two days on the weekend I gain everything back and have to start over again. I am going to have to think of something to fix this problem in order to get out of my same five pound cycle. Though this weekend will not be good to do this because it’s my 30th B-Day and my hubby is taking me out to dinner and baking me a cake. Does anyone have advice that helps them on the weekends to maintain healthy eating?

Hi! The weekends have always been the hardest for me too! We stay on track by having one "cheat meal" a weekend. Ahead of time, we know that and plan when it will be. Then the rest of the weekend, we make sure to take the time to cook something healthy that we like that we don't have time to cook during the week. Also, we always cook double what we need to feed our family so that we have something to eat all week long. That way we only end up having to actually take the time to cook about 3 times a week. Good luck!
