South Beach seems to be working better for me. I am not snacking on the "sugary" carbs. Maybe the secret is to switch diets every two weeks so I won't get bored. Two weeks on phase 1 then start phase 2 will be like a new diet so I am going to keep on plugging with South Beach. Oh course, I still do watch ww points to see how they correlate. Old habits die hard. I think I will always have ww in back of my mind.

I've done WW, Atkins and SBD. I think it is great to know all about the different diets. I've learned a lot from each. I really like SBD because it has taught me MORE about overall healthy eating and I feel like it has changed the way I think about food. It is definitely a way of eating I can stay with the rest of my life. I think eating SBD and counting points will be really good because it will keep you in the calorie range you need to stay in to lose weight. It comes down to calories taken in/burned off = weight loss or gain no matter what diet you are on.
