This is a diet cabbage soup that will keep you full with minimum calories and absolutely no fat.

- Cut all ingredients and place them in a large pot.
- Add water to cover them and then 2 cups more. Add salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil then turn the heat to low-medium and simmer for 50 minutes to an hour.
- Note: add other spices of your choice. You can add cream or croutons, but be careful as these increase the number of calories considerably.

If slimming requires some pain then his is the soup to go for. The taste is just about bearable with some cream swirled on top , I guess as a low carb soup it is passable. Wouldn't recommend it unless you are desperate to loose weight in the winter
