I was gone for most of the weekend - girl scout adventure - it was great. I took a break from count calories and worrying about my weight. Not completely - I continued to be aware of what I was eating and tried to be reasonable - I did not count calories or worry about keeping track of everything I ate. I did watch what I ate to some point. Example, everyone is eating snacks, there was really nothing that I wanted, so I did not eat. This is a new good habit. There would have been at time I would have ate, even though I wasn't really hungry and I there was nothing there that I really wanted. Just eating to be eating. My new habit is not to waste calories and eat only when hungry and only if there is something I want to eat. No eating to just be eating. It is becoming clearer and clearer that all or nothing routines do not work, and I am that type of person but the demands of the world are not structured to my way of doing things. I have to learn how to adjust, be flexible, and make the diet routine work with life.
