Wooosshh! Nothing but net! I made my goal of 230 by the end of March. 229.6 today.
Truthfully, I dont have a goal of 230 by the end of March, its 220 by the end of April! But, I had mentally latched onto the end of March thing, vocalized it, and committed to it. I dont feel like celebrating with food which is good. Perhaps a few beers over the course of this weekend.
Yesterday went well, Salad for lunch, they had some nice ham out to put on it. And a protein shake for dinner. I was well under my RDI for the day. I also did 30 minutes on the treadmill.
Next week my Son is out of school for the semester/spring break. 2 weeks! I plan on taking him and one of his friends around to the Zoo, and perhaps some nice meals out and about. I need a few days off work too anyway.
I was invited last night to Cyprus for a boys weekend. I may just do it. It is in a few months, and this could be my treat to myself for the weight loss journey. The prices are reasonable, and its only a 3 hour flight. I will call it "recon" for a later family trip, thats the ticket!
