Another 5 pounds on!

Disappointing but not unsurprising. I think the principle reason for the gain relates to the remaining odds and sods from the Christmas and New Year period. All those chocolates, crisps, beers, mince pies et al. Too guilty just to throw them in the bin, so polished most of them off over the last few days - and hence the gain.

But now that the slate is clean, so to speak, I can focus on getting those pounds off again.

Have bought a health-monitor tracker, and spent most of this morning back on the exercise bike - 45 minutes in and 800 calories burnt, with more to come later today.

Come March/April and the weather becomes a tad warming I'll be heading for the garage where my treadmill & rowing machine reside.

With any luck I hope to be back under the 200 pound barrier by then. But the hard work will be to keep it off!
