Lost just over 3 pounds this morning. Pleased with that as that takes me more or less on the 12st 0 mark.
Hopefully next week lose another pound or two to take me into the psychological rewarding 11st zone

Almost a 7 pound loss on the week.
Very happy about it, although I have seen this before at the beginning of calorie-controlled diets and more exercise regimes.
A shock to the system and body metabolism as fewer calories are consumed and more calories burned, hence the big drop in weight in the first one or two weeks.
Over the next 2 or 3 weeks it will balance out to much smaller losses (hopefully). But am still very happy with this morning's result and will go back to my tried and trusted "zig-zag" diet of having 2 days per week eating what I want (but still under 2600 calories per day); and the other 5 days on the CC diet of less than 2000 cals per day.
That way it makes life a little more exciting with naughty things to look forward to as a treat rather than the norm.
Onward and downward. :)

Oh dear!
I weighed myself today for the first time since June 2023, and as expected (based on having to readjust my trouser belt outwards) I have put some weight on since then.
However, I wasn't expecting exactly how much weight in all those 13 odd months - 18 pounds!!!
My own fault completely for going off the rails and not keeping tabs on my weigh-ins on at least a monthly basis. And now I've had a reality check that has put everything back into perspective.
The last time I was 177lbs (12st 9) was way back in mid 20200, and eventually almost reached target of 159lbs by around 2023. But then I stopped weighing myself and now everything gone a bit pear-shaped (almost literally).
Anyway, I am looking at my FatSecret daily calendar for 2020 to see what I was eating/exercising, and to get back on track once again. Have also reduced my daily intake from 2500 calories to 2000 cals, just like 4 years ago.
Next weigh-in will be Sunday 1st September and every Sunday thereafter.
The hard work begins now...
