Emotional eating, clearing out the last of my parents stuff and finding comfort in food. I am not stressing about my gain, when I have finished doing what I am doing, I can get back to a more focused diet. I will be selling my house soon and moving county, so that will be stressful, but hopefully I can keep on top of things as not so emotional.

I am selling my mothers house just now, Lorna, to pay her care home fees. I just think to myself, I have to get from A to B and this is what I have to do to get there...

Oh Anne, my heart goes out to you, its a hard thing to say goodbye to your mother's home. I wish you all the luck in the world with it. I was my mother's live in carer for just shy of 12 years, the house holds mixed emotions, but I know that moving on is the right thing to do.

Hi Lorneylorna, losing one's Mother is a very cruel experience. My mother died at 47 I was 21 my brother was 17. I think of her every day. Sadly she smoked very heavily and although they got the cancer out of her lungs it went to her brain. You are going through a very difficult time. Need support I'm here for you.
