First weigh in post holidays. Yes I ate a fair amount of junk, but it was offset by morning fasting with a very light lunch and no evening snack after the dinner dessert. Avatar is of my bees reclaiming the comb I had to straighten after a week away. The Queen has taken the hive from 3 to 6 frames in 3 weeks
Awesome job. I was pretty tough with the hive. Moved the top box to the bottom to test a theory I had read. Got a nice first sting for my efforts. Not nearly what I had expected. More initially intense but faded far quicker than I expected.
We're surrounded by 5 fires at the moment. Closest is about 10 miles away. Live life and don't sweat it until you know you've gotta go. That doesn't mean I'm not prepared. I'll keep you posted. If you want a look, find Burns Lake BC on a map and then look for it on the BC inactive wildfire map.
