Its been a little over a week since my last journal entry. I must confess that I really didn't do hardly any exercises last week due to me being sick and all I wanted to do was just sleep but with me being a single mother to 3 children... getting any kind of sleep is a real treat. I try to stay up for at least one hour after I put them to bed so I can get some "me" time in.. I never get any kind of a break otherwise. Despite me being sick.. other things have popped into my life that I am not happy with and has truly made me upset to where all's I want to do is just eat them away. I am pleased to say I found the courage to hold back and not do it. I grab a glass of water or herbal tea and just watch t.v. to calm down.. seems to help to a certain degree. Im just at that point in my life right now to where I LOVE helping others out especially my family and try to be there for them on things and ask them on how everything is but yet when they cant show me the same kind of courtesy back.. well it just makes me feel down right awful. I feel hurt, ignored and like everything I do isn't worth anything. Why do I bother trying I ask myself and then I get a reminder from God in some aspect..... cause that is who I am. I am a young lady with a big heart who would put everyone else ahead of her own on anything and everything possible and never ask for anything in return.
On the plus side I just found out on Monday of this week that my fiancé is finally able to move down here. He finally got joint custody of his children (something that still bothers me a little bit cause of how the mother is but at least its said and done) and will be down here in the middle of next month. So have about 5 weeks to go. It gives me incentive and motivation to start back up on my exercises to lose this baby weight cause once he is down here.. plan baby gets into motion. :) I always try to see the good in every situation which is not easy to do sometimes. I know I haven't weighed in this week but will hold off till sunday so this way I can start a new week with a new weigh in.

Didn't realize it has been about a week since my last journal entry. Things have been so crazy around here since my last entry. Kids not listening.. had to take my son to the eye dr.last Friday (22nd) cause he failed the state eye screening (Oklahoma has a prevent blindness program which gives free eye exams to every student in school k-12) so took him to the eye dr (which thank goodness his state insurance covered all that cause I certainly don't have the money right now for all that). Mild to moderate nearsighted with a hint of stigmatism so we picked up glasses yesterday. Kids went on break on that day too but was still able to get exercises in. Woke up Saturday somewhat congested and started to get worse sunday and with each passing day. I made a thanksgiving meal for me and my kids (and brother) yesterday since we will be at my parents on Wednesday and wont be home till this sunday. Had a hard time making all that cause I felt (and still feel) like I got ran over by a freakin semi truck. Hard time breathing, not much of a appetite and all's I want to do is either sleep or drink tons of green tea or oj. SO needless to say I couldn't fully enjoy the meal yesterday. Even though I made my homemade pumpkin pie.. ughhh. Sucks being sick around the holidays! Anywho I will weight in tonight after everyone is asleep and post my weight then but I just wanted to wish all my friends on here a very happy thanksgiving and I hope you enjoy the day.. be thankful and blessed with all that you have and don't be afraid to treat yourself a little bit this year.. just don't go overboard! :)

ok.. not sure whether to be mad or happy about this week's weigh in. I decided to check my weight yesterday morning after every left for their destinations and it said I was at 125 and Im like oh heck no.. this has GOT to go! So I worked out 3x yesterday (toning work outs) and did some 30 min play time of basketball. This morning I did my toning work out at 6 (since my son was SO nice to wake me up at 530 again! arrrggghhh!!!) and then did a miniature walking session for over 10 min this morning at the kids bus stop while we wait on the bus to show up. Spent 20 min chasing after my dang dog (he wanted to play obviously lol) and then finally came in to get cats fed. Checked my weight this morning before taking a bath and I was down 123.. so its like I gained 3 lbs from last week but yet I lost 2 of those lbs. Just aggravating. Mother nature is slowly making her appearance and usually when she shows up I really don't feel like eating much. I hope and pray that next week is better. I will weight in next Monday right before we leave for the week as we will be at my parents house celebrating thanksgiving. I hope all my friends on FS has a healthy and thankful thanksgiving.. remember my friends... things could always be so much worse and we have so much to be thankful for.. god has truly blessed us on this journey.. appreciate all the small things and accomplisments!

Figured I would go ahead and write in my journal this morning and then tackle the food entry later on tonight after the day is said and done and I have kiddos in bed konked out. I don't know why (to be honest I think this is my baby girl up in heaven grasping my attention on this one) but woke up this morning thinking, "man Ive really gotten lazy on my daily exercises.. I really don't want to gain weight anymore.. I need to do something about this." So even though my dang son woke me up at 5:30 this morning.. I found it to be a blessing in disguise cause I went ahead and got up to do my tone workout. Got my brother and kids off to work/school and then jogged home. I have decided I am going to go back to exercising 3x a day. We all have busy lives but there should be no excuse on why we cant exercise at least 2x a day! Tomorrow is weight in day and I am bound and determined to get better numbers this week!
