Lowering my carbs and increasing proteins seems to be working quite well. I am pleased with how I am progressing. I admit there are times when don't make the best choices, but so far I have been able to stay within guide lines I set at the beginning.

Good afternoon everyone =)
Woke up more stiff and sore then normal thanks to PT yesterday. It has been about 6 months since I did a good workout. I may be hurting, but I know it will be good for my back(and weight) in the long run. I just spent an hr. playing Wii sports - golf, bowling, and tennis and burned 363 calories. Fun and good for me. Gotta love it LOL. For anyone who wants a breakdown here it is:
(based on 270 lbs)
Golf - 30 mins = 156
Bowling 15 mins = 85
Tennis 15 mins = 122
and if you have kids it is a good way to have fun with them and still be getting a workout.

I blew it yesterday. Ate a whole can of extra large olives. (love them) However I think I made up for it today, I got worked over at physical therapy this afternoon. I am sore and tired, but feel good about myself and the choices I have made today. Hopefully I will not hurt as bad after PT on Thursday.

Good Morning everyone =)
It is definately a monday. I woke up itching like crazy from eczema. Luckily I was about to get an appointment with my primary at 3:00 today. My husband got up and got me coffee, and breakfast. He spoils me =) I am feeling alittle down today, maybe because of the way I woke up, I am not sure. Our dogs are running through the house playing, I wish I had the energy they have. I have found a few new recipes I want to try. Anyone know a good low-carb desserts or sweet snacks? I am not normally one or sweets, but I have those days. I am looking forward to starting physical therapy tomorrow. But at the same time I am worried about how much pain I will be in after.
