Well, I'm hoping this isn't a fluke, and I figured this out relatively well. It's nice to have good news and a smile right away in the morning!!!

Went a little over my carb count tonight for dinner. I was like so totally hungry! With all of the stuff I had...I made two burrito type thingies.... I know I would have been ok with just one... :(

So, of the measurements I keep track of, I have lost almost 13" total since I started keeping track of them. I'm not sure I am measuring right, because sometimes it feels like stuff fits different and sometimes it don't.
So, since the beginning of this little journey I decided to do, I have lost a total of 8.6 pounds of crap. I do feel better already, and the energy level is awesome already and I can't wait until I have the energy I feel like I should have at my age. My doctor finally got me on the right anti-inflammatory to be able to make it through my work day and beyond without extreme pain in my ankles...especially my left one.
I have never tried some of the things I plan on grabbing when I go shopping later today, but you all make things sounds so delicious, that I think I may have the courage to try some new things. Besides chicken, bacon, eggs and cheese are getting a little boring. Anyone one have any advice for me as far as basics to have around besides the above?

What looked like a lot of food on my plate tonight...turns out to not be holding me over. I felt very full when I was done eating....about an hour and a half later I feel like I didn't eat at all. It's frustrating the heck out of me and boy am I getting crabby because of it...

I have such a hard time getting close to my marks and WAY off on any calories I eat...It makes it really hard to believe that my eating habits are what got me fat. I eat more now than I remember ever eating....
