Weigh in day and not real impressed. Actually am feeling frustrated. I did lose 1 tiny pound BUT I am averaging 4000 less kcal per day than I expend. I am 100% faithful to recording what I eat, if I am not exactly sure of calories (which is rare) I overestimate the intake. I do not enter any extra exercise activities (I average 100 squats/day, lift weights 1-2 minutes a couple of times/day, I go up and down stairs an extra 5-6 times a day). According to thermodynamics, I should be losing 5-7 pounds/week. I know I am gaining some muscle, but can it be that much?? I have also cut back on salt and drink over 100 oz of water per day. I will keep on going but the current frustration level is very high.

Geo99, take your mind off of the weight. Just stay focused on the lifestyle and the benefits thereof. Focus on your energy level, your pep in your step, stuff like that. I admire your dedication to logging everything. That's a very important part of this journey. Regardless of what the scale says, you ARE changing/saving your life, one day at a time.

I am getting frustrated myself but I keep telling myself that the weekly weigh in is the only one that counts... Even though I am seeing weight gain or at least steadiness throughout the week it doesn't matter... because next Monday is the only weigh in that counts. Now I have already decided if I don't lose weight in one month of 100% faithful dieting I am going to freak out and break things!!
