You are right! You will see that this moment will pass and things will look better. The food won't help one bit. You will feel worse b/c you gave in to the "lizard brain" - the dumb part of our brain that just tries to do what it knows to survive. But you are the one driving the bus, you are the smart one that knows that this old habit of using food for solace isn't going to work. You made an informed, strong decision to have the low cal margarita - you set a boundary. Don't let dumb lizzie the lizard brain have it's way.
