Sometimes I get really upset because of the Celiac & food allergies..but then there are days like today when there's tons of candy sitting about in the hallway here at work and I can't have ANY of it. Sometimes it's a curse, sometimes it's a blessing. Today would fall under the blessing category.

And as for my workout this morning -- it went very well. I did my run/walk and the hip pain kicked in around mile 2, but I adjusted my gait and finished strong with doing 1.25 miles without any breaks. Running more on my toes seems to do the trick for the hip pain. However, the last time I did the toe thingy, I used all kinds of muscles I didn't know I had and was practically crippled for a day or two.

My final comment for today will be about the dreaded plateau. I think I'm in one. My body has always plateaued around 170. Everytime I lose weight it just stalls here. And then I give up. My body just fights when I get this weight. But this time, eff my body!!! I'm not giving up. I'm going to push through this and keep exercising and doing everything right. And maybe I'll meet myself on the other side of the plateau. But then I'm not sure if this is an official plateau because I'm still losing inches. Eventhough I haven't lost a single pound in 4 weeks, my pants are getting looser. Now, if my pants start to get tighter, that's a totally different story. :-)
