So, I just finished weighing myself, both with and without the brace on.

With the brace on, I'm above 200lbs - 203lbs to be exact. Yes, the brace weighs 5 lbs lol.
Without the brace on, I'm 198 lbs.

Without going into too much detail due to legalities, let's just say that I was involved in a pedestrian (me) accident with a vehicle back in April 2024. I had multiple fractures in my right leg and with the bones now healed, I'm into the hardcore physio to relearn how to walk again. I've managed to wean out of the Aircast Boot but the ROM brace is still with me as well as me using a walker. Stamina is at an all time low but eventually I will get back to being me before the accident.

Diet wise, I'm now bouncing between a Carnivore and Dirty Carnivore diet. Some would say it's Ketovore but I say not since there are so very few non-meat additions to my diet. Garlic, onions, green & yellow beans, tomatoes, dill pickles and a rare occasion blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are about all I can tolerate at the moment - well that plus my spices. And of course I am still doing that fine balancing act with fat because of my IBS-D/BAM. However, I did manage to go 6 months without needing to use my Cholestyramine to rescue me from a bad flare-up.
I have cut out dairy in my coffee - yay! In fact, I can actually drink coffee black and be okay although I do enjoy Now Foods Caramel Monkfruit Liquid Sweetener in my coffee occasionally for a treat.
All my dairy now has to be lactose-free. That in itself is a can of worms since food makers put more crap into the lactose-free items as well as other speciality items. I'm still working on using my Lacteese drops in some dairy but overall, my dairy consumption as a whole is dramatically reduced.

Exercise wise, well, I do what I can within my limitations. Currently doing a series of exercises daily taught to me by my Chiro/Physio Dr and I just started using a non-weightbearing (under the desk type) elliptical machine to help my legs recover.

That's it so far...smiles...
