I've decided to not play soccer this evening. First off, there were 9 women playing so that meant 4 subs. But the real reason is that my knee is feeling a bit squirrelly. Sometimes when I'm going up or down the stairs, my knee kinda buckles. Actually, that hasn't happened in the last 2 days, but I really don't want to have a major injury tonight.
So, I'm going to go to Hot Yoga tonight. Now that I've got the "unlimited" membership, I can go anytime I want!!! I had a great swim this morning. Did 55 mins - about 45 laps. I lost count a few times. That's my third swim this week. I avoided the Wednesday fiasco by eating an orange and some almonds after yoga last night and then grabbing an apple on my way out the door this morning. I felt great!
Finally, the biggest news is that I'm wearing a skirt. Yep, a little sporty skirt with a t-shirt and my tennis shoes. Couldn't get too girly because I wouldn't want to shock all of the engineers around here that I'm actually a girl. And I decided to wear the skirt on Friday when most coworkers are "working" from home. I cleaned out my closet this weekend and found this gem in the back and I haven't been able to put it on in over 5 years. Woot! Woot! And even better news is that it's a little too big for me. I probably will get to wear it today and maybe one more time...not too sad about that.
