It's hard to not get discouraged. I've been intermittent fasting for 2 weeks now, while in a calorie deficit and exercising. My weight doesn't want to budge! What the heck?!

Keep at it! Your body is realising that it is losing weight when its main function is to store. My dietician told me that this is when your body is BS'ing you. Accordingly, keep at it, check your food diary to make sure you are in a calorie deficit but not eating too little and forcing your body to go into starvation mode. My dietician recommended more exercise (up to 4 times a week for me).

Make sure u eating enough apparently especially protein carb and veg ratio. I keep getting into trouble w my trainer telling me I am not eating enough!!

just make sure u r not eating too little calories..never eat less than 1200cal

I was in the same boat - with less than 10kg to lose, your body is probably in a happy place, so it might take something extraordinary to shift off a plateau. My weight stayed in the 66-67kg range for MONTHS and things actually shifted when I changed up my carbs a little (focusing on vegetables), kept my protein stable and alternated days of high and low fat macros. I decided to add an extra rest day, which meant exercising less (I struggle with taking a break), but sleeping more. My major breakthrough came with an emotional shift. Guilt and rage weigh about 3 kg 😉 I spent about 3 or 4 months on a plateau and suddenly my body caught up to my head. Just stick with it, but go easy on yourself. Make little changes to find out what works, but don't forget about emotional wellbeing. I think we carry a lot of stuff that literally weighs us down 💐 Good luck!

Just keep going! We all sometimes feel we have tried so damn hard and I only get this?! We all have disappointments trying to lose weight. The ones that reach their goals are the ones that keep going and do!!

If you're exercising, rather take measurements of your waist, hips, arms, legs... Fat has more volume than muscle. You may lose inches but not weight. I've lost 1.5 inches around my hips, but I weigh the same! More lean muscle weight and less fat volume. You've got this!

take measurements!!! so much important! the same happened to me but I was losing CM's rapidly but scale wud hardly budge!

maybe try increasing your protein intake?

Go super low carb, even carnivore. Trick is high protein, less than 30gr of carbs per day. Do not worry too.much about fat intake. Eat a large steak/chicken with greens every night. Substitute milk in coffee with sugar free almond milk.

Eat even less and exercise more, you will see results in a few weeks

Remember, to lose 1kg of pure fat, you have to have burnt 9000 more calories than you consumed which is quite a lot. To lose that in one week mean a deficit of around 1300cal per day!

You should be eating according to your Macros required for the day within your calorie limit. Use a macro calculator online to get your macros (macros are your daily intake for fat, protein and carbs specific to you) and calorie calculation. And remember to ensure you are burning at least 800 more calories than you are consuming per day
