Another FS member (I can't remember who) posted a picture of the book "Burn" and I spent a bunch of time last night watching interviews with the author and reading reviews to get an abridged understanding of his thesis. Basically, exercise isn't correlated to weight loss because our metabolisms stay static. Only eating less calories works. Exercise is really, really good for you still. I honestly can't wrap my mind around this, mostly because I always like to think I can eat a few more calories on days that I work out, but I guess that's not actually how it works? I'm going to have to buy the book and actually read it to understand. 🙃
