Well my scales are working correctly again. I am still at my same weight 234. I am ok with that because I lost alot of weight last week and I havent been 100% perfect lately. I know I can't keep cheating a little bit because it makes me want to cheat more. I have been craving Chinese food so bad!!! Anyone know what is low carb at Chinese Restaurants? I am going to research it. I don't have my internet transfered to my new house yet so I wont be able to write until Tuesday when I get back to work. I wish everyone the best of luck over the weekend! TGIF!!!

I went to a chinesse for a dinner and had a sizling combination. Had sauce mixed in and had veges, prawns, chicken , beef and pork. Was served on a cast iron plate sizzling and lip-smacking! Oh yum!
Had a zero coke and that night and next morning no change - still purple!
wouldn't do it every week but for a once of was good. Sooooo goood!

Hi. Chinese food is difficult on atkins as all sauces contain sugar- and lots of it ! I tried a stir fry earlier in the week when I fancied something chinese. was gorgeous. bought a ready mix stiry fry - beansprouts, shredded cabbage, slices mushrooms, shredded carrot (took a lot out!). Added a chopped spring onion and some bamboo shoots from a jar - filling but low carb. added a little bit of chopped ginger and garlic. Stir fried some beef and for a sauce I mixed some salt, liquid sweetener, soy sauce (1 tbs) and water (about 2 tbs) and threw it in. I use Xantham gum to thicken it but not everyone uses that. was divine !!! Not much cooking at all and very yummy - even my kids enjoyed it. If your craving something just try and find a low carb way of having it. Your doing great.

Crispy duck is pretty safe. Just avoid the saucy things. Go for it!
