*sigh* I havent really lost anything for 2 weeks now. :(

But fat test results: My previous one that I took November 7th had my body fat percentage at 42.3% my fat weight at 120# and my lean weight at 164#. My total weight at that time was 284lbs.

The one I took on December 4th. My total weight was 276lbs. So total loss in about a month is 8lbs (I'd really like to be at 10 lbs a month since the calorie plan I am on should have me at that alone, thats not even including all the work outs.. *frustration*) Anyways... the test has my new body fat percentage at 37.5% and my fat weight at 104lbs and my lean weight at 172 lbs.

So grand total is 4.8% lost in total body fat a little less than a months time.

16lbs of fat lost!

and

8 lbs of muscle gained!


This should make me happy right?

But right now with the scale staying the same for 2 unglorious weeks...

I would so rather have all that fat loss on my side and the scale to be saying 268 instead of 276..

Those are awesome results! You should be very happy. I'm happy for you lol. Even though the scales being a biyatch you have proof of how well you're doing. How are you getting tested for bf%? I have an at home scale but I don't know if I trust it do to correct bf%

You should be jumping up and down with those results! I am, and they arent my results lol I should really do a fat test to see what my overall fat/lean muscle mass is, but I am scared lol You are entitled to feel upset with the scale staying the same even though you know you have lost 16 pounds of fat, it is frustrating to see the same number on the scale, but at least its the same number and not more right?

This is true I didnt go up for Thanksgiving and my TOM 2lbs gain came off right away. So that I am grateful for... I think I am doing something wrong though... As for the fat percentage test. My parents own a Max Muscle store so I have been taking advantage of there device when I go in there. I wish I had done it when I started dieting again in August just to see where I was really. But I definitely recommend doing it because it is encouraging when weight loss is not on your side when you are working out and all of that. I would ask your gym to see if they have device that does it? I think I have seen them around my gym like when you start with a personal trainer they take it to keep track of progress but sometimes gyms will have events that will just do it for free. I would think especially with the beginning of the new year happening that there would be something going on. Or if you have a Max Muscle in your area see if they will take it for you?

My gym doesn't offer that much, but it's only $10 a month so I can't really complain. I searched for a Max Muscle and apparently there isn't one within 100 miles of here lol. I wish I would have taken my measurements 40lbs ago to see how far I've really come. I'm still able to wear the same clothes so I'm not sure if I really lost that many inches.

I will ask my Dad about what kind of places might offer doing something like that. You can always take measurements now! I dont take measurments too often either. And I havent seen alot of inches lost this year with 60 lbs lost.. but I can definitely see my clothes fitting better even though I can still fit into the same size I wore 6o lbs ago. I think it took me 40lbs or so to go from 24 to a 22 just cause I was wearing things alot tighter. I can tightly fit into a size 20 now (and my favorite style jeans an 18 but they run stretchier) I would try on the next size down to see where you are.. you may be surprised. I know I was!

I tend to downplay my success. I'll convince myself that my clothes have just stretched out more if they're loose or maybe they shrank if I gained and they are tighter. I think that's how I let myself get so big in the first place. Denial is not a good thing! I'm taking my measurements now and have seen some changes but I want to be able to fit into any 18 not just stretchy ones or at stores that seem to run big. I can't wait to shop at normal stores and have lots of options.
