I lost another pound. Hell yes. I'm 8 pounds away from my 'goal' although now that I'm approaching it, I want to lose more. Is that weird?

Congrats! It's not weird at all. One goal isn't the end-all, just make a new goal after you reach your first. Keep going (within reason)! :P
