On September 8, 2010 I started Atkins, weighed 189 lbs, more than I ever have in my life. As of last week I weighed 171.00 lbs, 18 lbs down. I have been trying to exercise every other day, either walking or exercise video, or elliptical. I don't feel more energetic but I have noticed that I am not hungry all day long like I have been on other diets, WW and Nutrisystem. I do get cravings for cookies, but that is only after drinking red wine or not having an Atkins bar for a few days. Also trying to make different foods, shiratake noodles, cauliflower pizza, zucchini patties, etc. to stay interested and motivated.
