Well no weight loss this week, but I expected that. Friday night I decided I would eat off plan. I had salsa & chips and a chicken fried steak with gravy at my favorite restaurant. It was good, but not Oh, I am in heaven good. So I didnt overeat and I was right back on plan directly after the meal. SO I watched my weight go from 224 to 225.6 and now this morning I am back to 224. I have no doubt that I would be under 224 if I had chose differently. I am not sweating over it however. This week I will lose and I know everyone is different, but I think I need to give in and have something I really want every now & then. Surprzingly I felt thin this morning. I feel like I've lost more weight but I know I haven't but my stomach is getting flatter and flatter. I found a funny book at Wal- Mart this weekend. I don't know the name of it exactly, but it's pink and it says "eat carbs and lose weight" or something like that. I read through the first few pages and it was so funny. It bashed low carb diets and even said that low carb diets cause bloating..... I can definately disagree with that one. I have no bloat and I don't even have gas anymore. I wanted to get the book just out of curiosity but it was $18 so I passed. I had a great weekend - hope you all did too!

It's funny how the longer we follow this WOE the foods we always enjoyed just don't taste the same. I did the same thing this weekend. Said to heck with it and didn't enjoy any of it. I am extremely bloated this morning. I'll have to look through that book if I ever see it but I wont buy it either.

This week will be better. Next time you are craving chicken fried steak, make your own with crushed pork rinds, and the low carb white gravy!! It will be carb friendly and taste awesome!!

As I was eating the food it was yummy, but the coke wasn't very good to me and I kept thinking 40 carbs... for this? So not worth it. I almost sat it aside and asked for water. I ate 1/2 a fry but it was mediocre. I had a couple bites of beans & rice from my hubbys plate and I had an ice cream sundae but it wasn't all that good so I only ate maybe 1/3 of it. Even the chips & salsa, which I crave all the time, wasn't all that great? I could almost kick myself because the 31st is my 10 year anniversary and I wanted to go eat Chili's and have honey chipotle chicken crispers. I guess I still can but I hate to have another slip up so close together. It's ok once in awhile but I am afraid if I start getting to lenient with myself I will backslide.
