So, I was watching a documentary on Netflix today "What the health" which puts focus on how we are taught that carbs and sugar are the key to weight loss, when the real culprit is meat, dairy and eggs. It was extremely eye opening and they talked about the links between heart disease and these foods. I definitely believe it too, I went vegan about a month ago and the weight just dropped (without depriving myself) where I ate chicken and fish for months with no results. I accidently drank dairy the weekend and I got a major breakout of pimples on my chest. I do eat sugar and carbs (alot of oats and maple syrup) and I keep losing the pounds. Definitely something to keep in mind.
