Well, I finally reached a point where it is no longer acceptable to hold my pants on with office supplies :-)

Everything in my closet is size 22–24 with elastic waist bands that have been stretched to the max. Today, I decided I have had enough. I went to Goodwill in search of new pants :-).

I picked out several pairs and took them to the dressing room to try on. They were all size 18! And they were all too big!!!

I ended up buying four new pair of size 16 pants :-) :-) :-)
