Crispy Chicken Nuggets

Baked chicken nuggets that are super crispy but not fried.

Bahan-bahan

Cara memasak

  1. Cut chicken into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
  2. Dip in flour mixture.
  3. Dip in beaten egg with milk.
  4. Roll in cracker crumbs.
  5. Bake at 425° F (210° C) for 10-12 minutes.

I can't wait to try this! I think I will also sub in pork rinds for the crackers but other than that I will leave as-is! Sounds like it will be awesome!

Instead of crackers and flour just use pork rinds. They have zero carbs and 4 grams of fat. Just crush the pork rinds.

Love this recipe! Actually our whole family does. My 12 year old devours it every time I make it and requests it often. Its nice to finally find a recipe good for you that the whole family enjoys. Thank you mandksmom for sharing this recipe with us!

I would imagine you could coat them in soya flour and chopped nuts, for a low carb version? Sounds yummy though!

This sounds really good, however it is not a low carb dish...I would substute the flour and crackers for something else, only use egg whites, and use No salt Ms. Dash...

Would work for south beach diet phase 2 if you switched the flour to Whole Wheat and made sure the crackers were whole wheat also.
