Back in December I had lost 33 pounds, but unfortunately I went off my diet for a couple of months and gained back about 9 pounds. I recently lost 6 pounds and now am 201 pounds. Dieting is anything but easy. Temptations are everywhere. You really have to give the people who succeed a lot of credit and appreciation. In 2014 I was 180 pounds and lost about 50 or 60 pounds. After I lost the weight I started eating junk food all the time, stopped caring about my looks, cared more about food than my appearance, and one day I was much bigger. Weight gain is something that just creeps up on you. When I look in the mirror I hate what I see, and I've grown to have disgust in the way I look. Which is hard when all you want to do is love yourself - but yet feel trapped. I have to do this for me and I won't give up no matter how many days I fail and mess up. It's hard to lose weight when one of the most enjoyable things in life is food. I find comfort in food and I actually find it fun to eat. I would even say that eating is a hobby of mine. I love cake, brownies, donuts, cookies, pie, pudding, icecream, muffins, and candy. I'm usually alone a lot so I reach for food when I get bored or lonely. I just recently joined this app and I can already tell that it's going to help me out and the support system is fantastic. Reading everyone's posts about the struggles they are going through is very reassuring. I can definitely relate to most of you and it's comforting knowing I'm not the only one. I want you all to know that messing up by falling back into junk food or stopping exercise - that happens. Life gets in the way. No one is perfect. Just forget about that stuff and move on. Learn from your failures, adjust your plan to prevent the same thing from happening again, and start again. Always start again. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. The mountain may look far, but with determination and high spirit, you will definitely get to the top! Good luck!
