started doing liquid diet 2 days ago. only protein shakes 2 or 3 times a day with unlimited water and 4oz chicken thigh for lunch with multivitamins.

Supplements don't/can't work. You make your own vitamins and proteins - you can't use the ones from dead animals and dead plants.

I disagree with the supplement comment. I consider additional vitamins and some minerals in moderation not harmful and potentially helpful when dieting.

However your diet isn't safe long term but to flip you into ketosis it should work. Then you really need to add low calorie veggies and a little fish imho

It is an impossibility of chemistry, physics and biology for any supplement to work. Ascorbic acid made in a lab is in no way shape or form what happens, what is going on with C inside your body - so to with proteins and the other vitamins. Ketosis is also a myth - no such thing.
And minerals are the most dangerous of all the supplements to be taking. will explain later..must run

Most vitamins and supplements are synthetic and aren't absorbed by the body. Make sure your getting natural ones.

We can only use the vitamins we synthesize on our own. Oranges and pills cannot provide us these vitamins. Those molecules would never survive exposure to light, air, or hydrochloric acid.

MMMlive et al - food science and it's side kick marketing, has humans believing that we can't synthesize anything, and that we need to get everything, every nutrient from all the other species, the plants and animals around us. But it just isn't so, we humans can synthesize all we need, all our proteins and vitamins etc. We are equal to the other species as being brilliant synthesizing machines - especially the females of our species - they can synthesize whole humans, complete with blood and lungs, amino acids and proteins and vitamins and arms, eyeballs, hair, teeth, organs, skin...

What I said about dead plants and animals is wholly correct - when a mammal dies it undergoes decomposition and as that word implies, all of the body's components begin to DE compose, to come undone, to DE grade(bio degrading). Proteins begin immediately to break down into smaller molecules, the amino acids, and then the amino acids begin to break down into the respective atoms that made them up - nitrogen, sulfur, hydrogen, oxygen, carbon etc- these atoms/gases, dissipate back into the air and ground - to be reused by other life forms, by living organisms- or to create new life forms.
