Yep 😔 You need to stop buying it. I appreciate your kids may like it too but you need to explain that it should be an occasional drink, not a regular one and that you drink too much of it. My downfall is wine so I've stopped buying it in as often. It's the only way to deal with the temptation. I hope all goes well and in the right direction for the coming week, Spidy! 

I have three boys and they were drinking a lot of Coke and Dr Pepper, but surprisingly I managed to get them drinking a lot of still and fizzy mineral water. They generally have Coke when they are eating out or when their friends come round. 

Oh Judy I understand you very well, I got 2 boys 25 and 16.. I manage to stop buying pepsi, but the older one come back home and started to buy again... we have to stop buying it... it is poison... 

I had a look and a standard 20 oz bottle of Dr Pepper has 16 teaspoonfuls of sugar and a 16.9 oz bottle of Coke has 14 teaspoonfuls of sugar. Mind you, apparently Starbucks withdrew a version of latte that had 36 teaspoonfuls of sugar. It's amazing what they were getting away with. No wonder so many people were getting diabetes.
