I’ve been tracking my weight since September 2019. I started at 232. Fast forward three years, nothing has changed except watching the yo-yo and just like that I’m back where I started except now I have to take meds for diabetes and high cholesterol. WHAT THE HELL!! Why can’t I lose weight? I got down to 196 in 2020 and I remember I was starving!!! Boom right back up to 230s. Paleo hasn’t proven to help either. I’m totally at a loss. Maybe surgery is the answer. 🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, the fad diets generally don't work in the long run. Then the yo-yo causes you to lose muscle each time and makes it easier to gain fat by decreasing your BMR. Keep it simple. Track all calories consumed and increase your activity and slightly decrease calories from maintenance. If you try to lose weight by a calorie deficit alone, you might end up hating life or back to your starting weight. Good luck!
