Well, I can only come to the conclusion that eating healthy makes me gain weight...lol //
I've got my hands on the Weight Watchers Eating plan with the points, and I'll try that. Not that it will change my food choices, but I'll be able to visibly see my food intake by the Points instead of the calories.
What I was doing was logging all foods in by pen and paper and then entering it on the FS web site. Or for the latter part, not.
Oddly enough, their booklet says not to eat below 29 points, however, when setting up the calculator, the points allotted are 26.
Fruits are 0 points, but I've heard that they sometimes cause a problem if you eat too many of them.
I know my problem is one of portion control and not poor food choices. At least, I don't struggle with cravings, I struggle with wanting too much of a good thing...
This is a new day and a new week, so I'm getting back on the horse. I'm a bit discouraged about the weight gain, but at the same time, I'm hopeful, as I have a new tool. (Weight Watchers Points System)
It's obvious that quitting is not an option. If I'm 'dieting' and gaining weight, imagine if I don't!!!!
I need to buy some swimwear. I was trying some on and a thought came into my mind. 'what have I done to myself?'
Right next to me an underweight woman was trying some swimwear at the same time. We were in side by side cubicles. I'm sure the clerk had a chuckle just at the oddity of the situation. I know I really didn't.
I took my measurements this am:
Bust 45 Waist 41 Belly Button 42 hips 41.5
Well, here's hoping the WW points won't leave me feeling hungry all of the time. From what I know of WW, you lose for sure if you follow their plan, no if and buts about it. I hope I'm correct.
