Thursday night brought a few bad storms that resulted in us losing power; which meant hubby and I had to use buckets to take the water out of sump pump holes. Around 3 AM Friday morning the power came back on so we could go to sleep and get some rest from carrying the 5 gallon buckets outside. Needless to say I didn’t go to the gym like normal on Friday from the exhaustion of hauling water out and kids didn’t have school, because of what happened with the storms

Saturday was beautiful for weather and we were able to plant all of our seeds and finish up some of the clean up from Thursday’s storms.

Sunday was the beginning of the end of year activities, my oldest 2 youth groups got together one for a bon-fire and yard games and the other at the bowling alley. Next Sunday my youngest will get to go shopping at the academy store with her points she’s earned all year.

This week is filled with last minute preparations for my youngest dance recital which is on Saturday and she has 2 performances! Plus today a fasting blood draw for me before my annual visit on Wednesday, hope that I can find answers for all my questions of why and not just the standard you’re getting older just deal with it. I’m not quite 34 so some things don’t make sense for my age.
